I am very pleased to share with you CHRISTUS Health's 2006-2007 Annual Report. It highlights the many milestones from across our health system that demonstrate our commitment to our mission and our ongoing pursuit of higher achievements in community value, business literacy, clinical and service quality.

This year, CHRISTUS Health continued to make significant progress on our Journey to Excellence while maintaining our commitment to identifying opportunities for further improvement.

We remain focused on our shared commitment to our ministry and our dedication to the principles of Catholic social teaching and a fair and just workplace.  We continue to transform our culture and processes to nurture a diverse, highly-engaged team of Associates.  We are working within the communities we serve to ensure that CHRISTUS has a vital presence where needed and offers support in a way that is most beneficial. We are creating trusting partnerships with physicians and other organizations that share our values. And we are incorporating innovation and vision into achieving and sustaining excellence in CHRISTUS.
